Arledge Children – Rutherfordton Photographer
I’ve been taking time reflecting on images from the past year, as I do every year, and I’m just really grateful. I made so many connections with amazing families in 2015. I stepped out of my comfort zone on more than one occasion to try out new things in the realm of photography. I have a lot of learning and improvements lined up for 2016, but one thing’s for sure – if I meet as many new, unique, fun families as I did in 2015, I’ll be happy. I encourage you to take this time when we don’t have any major holidays, vacations, or end of school madness to allow me to connect with your family and capture your moments. When you think about how much your family, especially children, change in a year it’s mind blowing. My child grew about 4 inches, two shoe sizes, and we’re working on a couple loose teeth. That’s drastic. Capture it. Don’t let the time pass, memories fade, and only have a slightly blurred iPhone shot to refer back to. They’re too precious to let cell phone pictures suffice. I’m so glad Carla made the time to bring her crew in for a session! They definitely kept me laughing!! Their expressions are priceless! Here’s to the new year! Enjoy 🙂
Wilkie Wedding – Burntshirt Vineyards – Hendersonville Photographer
Wow.  Where do I start?  Caleb and Jennifer had an amazing wedding!  I loved how even though it was a torrential downpour, neither one of them complained.  They were just as happy changing plans and having the ceremony indoors (which was gorgeous).  Burntshirt Vineyards is a beautiful location, especially for a fall wedding like this one.  This wedding was a photographer’s dream!  Jennifer had everything so well organized that the day was so much more relaxed than your typical wedding day.  So if you’re planning a 2016 wedding definitely ask Jennifer for some pointers ;).  After the ceremony, we moved right into the most enthusiastic reception I’ve ever witnessed.  I’ve seen dancing.  I’ve seen a lot of dancing. However, I’ve never seen every person on the dance floor at once like the Wilkie wedding.  It was amazing!  I mean, I even had to jump in for the Cupid Shuffle!  The energy in the room was too great not to!  This was absolutely one of my favorite weddings of all time.  Congrats to  you guys!!!
**This is the last couple of weeks to take advantage of 2015 wedding pricing!  If you would like to book your wedding, the time is now! 🙂  **

Braylee is such a beautiful baby. I love her hair! I had such a good time trying out some of my girly bands after having so many newborn boys lately! 🙂
