Family

I stayed up entirely too late last night working on photos while simultaneously attending an online workshop. I had more to say about these photos and this day in particular, but my creative juices aren’t flowing. In fact, I spent 5 minutes mulling over a title. As you can see, I came up with a really fancy title too. *Seriously, don’t go telling me how blown away you were by it because you will only make me blush. * So, with that being said, you get no details for these photos, only images. The brain is just not here today. However, I will give you the only sentence I could come up with while falling asleep right now – “this past cookout my mom had a cookout”. I rest my case. Enjoy!

Senior Session Fun With Tia

I really can’t express just how much I love senior sessions. Out of everything I photograph, senior sessions are my favorite. You just can’t beat it! Tia is an RS senior, and I had a lot of fun with her! We had an awesome location (thanks, Karen). If the sun hadn’t set, I would probably still be shooting! 🙂fb2fb1fb12fb11fb10fb9fb8fb7fb6fb5

The Thompson Family

It’s that time of year. Fall is my favorite season, and this session marked the beginning of the fall picture craze! I’m going to be super busy the next few months, but recording irreplaceable moments for mom’s and watching them light up when they talk about their images makes the busy season so worth it. I’ve known Brittany for years now, so it’s surreal to be photographing her two kiddos! It really seems like we were just in high school. I’m so happy I got to meet little Nathan! He is just as cute as his big brother, William. I’m torn between who I think he resembles; maybe I will have that figured out at our next session. On a side note, it seems like I’ve been on a little boy kick lately. I think I’ve photographed more brothers lately than ever before. 🙂

Meredith Bennett – Senior Session

I love senior sessions! Meredith’s session was a bit unusual.  As I was on my way, Meredith’s mom called to say that it was pouring down rain and had been for 15 minutes.  This was odd since I was 4 miles away from her, and it was totally sunny. The closer I got to her house, the darker it became. It looked like the storm cloud was directly over their house – and their house only. After seeing how beautiful Meredith looked, all ready for a fun session, I had to take some that day. I’m so glad I did! The rain finally passed, and we got some great photos while it rained and stormed all around us! Meredith is so gorgeous (I know I’m not telling you anything you didn’t already know). I had such a good time chatting with her and her mom, June, while we thought up some creative ways to shoot without getting soaked!

*Seniors! I’m booking senior sessions now, so get in touch soon! 🙂
